No one particular that I have come across has been a superior poet/writer than JOB, a humble servant of God from the Holy Bible.
In quick, this is his story: he humbly served God with all loyalty and God richly blessed him. Then the enemy of God, Satan himself went on to tempt him so that his loyalty to God would cease. What Job did not know was that God essentially gave Satan the permission for this new journey he was about to embark on. The journey was undesirable. His attractive young children died, his wife left him and on major of that, struck with a grave illness that was so terrible that even his major mates stayed clear from him.
Now what did Job do? As a brave and bold man, he stuck to his belief that God was nevertheless there and He could do as He wished for the reason that just after all, He created him.
Job succumbed to a strength from inside which was this: expressing himself; in discomfort, in doubt, in betrayal and confusion, he wrote. He never held back.
Those are some verses: Job three: three-four
Let the day perish wherein I was born,
And the evening in which it was mentioned,
There is a man child conceived.
Let that day be darkness;
Let not God regard it from above,
Neither let the light shine upon it
Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it;
Let a cloud dwell upon it;
Let the blackness of the day terrify it
Yes I know Those are some dark and heavy words. These lines of lamentation could conveniently translate into a song. A pretty sad song but nevertheless, a song can be birthed if provided the ideal melody and rhythm.
Then there is this 1:
For we are but of yesterday and know absolutely nothing
Due to the fact our days upon earth are a shadow (Job eight:9).
Deep. Essentially deep. That could sell once you add some meat to it!
As he spoke in clear thoughts so did he in metaphors. Those words came from a man who had what is known as encounter. As he went via various phases of his pains and suffering, he wrote them down. He was not told about it, he went via it himself. He wrote the words as he saw them. He described individuals as he saw match and called his circumstances plainly as they came.
So how can this encourage any writer out there? Discover from Mister Job. I am not saying you ought to go searching for a snake to poke to see its reaction all for the sake of an expertise.
It is easy: once difficulty comes, do not run from it. Pray. Meditate. Analyse it and place it into words. Are you going via a difficult breakup? Let the practical experience speak to you and write about it. Or are you going via some thing that is forcing you to be patient beyond your strength? Well, how does it really feel? Inform other people about it in verses. Mister Job did it and his name is forever inscribed in history. Not just that; his verses has encouraged millions of folks all over the globe.
Never let your scenario make you give up or run away from your troubles. Be encouraged. Stay hopeful and stick to what you think. And write.
